How Does the Solisten Program Work?
You, or your child, listen two hours per day, fitting it into your daily schedule at the most convenient times. Listeners can move around while listening because the equipment employs a long cord on the headphones. In fact, most listeners enjoy their listening time as they can draw, paint, play games, work puzzles, have conversations, or cook during their program. After the Initial Assessment (IA), the minimal program is 60 hours of listening over several months. The IA and program are described in more detail below. Initial Assessment

Electronic Ear (EE)
The Electronic Ear is the patented electronic device developed by Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis to provide the Tomatis Method. With classical music, mainly Mozart, and Gregorian chant, the Electronic Ear focuses attention to a client’s weak sounds through a filtering mechanism that stimulates the ear to perceive those sounds. The EE gates sound between the left and right ears to strengthen right ear dominance, and it works on balance. (Learn more www.tomatis-group.com) Solisten is the patented mini-Electronic Ear.
